MEI 85
Overview
MEI-85 (Red Brass) has good cold and hot forming properties with higher strength than pure copper. Not fragile to stress corrosion cracking or
dezincification. Popular for decorative, architectural, heat exchanger and electrical industry applications.

|
MEI-85 has good resistance to fresh water, neutral or alkaline saline solutions, organic compounds and land, sea and industrial atmosphere. Less sensitive to dezincification and stress corrosion cracking. Not resistant to acids, hydrous sulphur compounds or hydrous ammonia in non-stress relieved condition.
